Information
I am a contract and private-practice art therapist working the the DC Metropolitan area, specializing in memory care issues and the needs of elderly clients. I lead group and individual art therapy sessions for seniors, and individual art therapy sessions for people of all ages.
I have a Master's degree in Art Therapy and am a Licensed Clinical Professional Art Therapist (LCPAT) in the state of Maryland and a Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) with the Art Therapy Credentials Board (atcb.org). I am also a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) through the National Certification Council for Dementia Practitioners.

Experience
In addition to contract art therapy sessions, I have worked for several years providing activities for seniors. I work with residents in facilities or in their homes who experience various cognitive, physical, and emotional needs, including Alzheimer's/dementia and Parkinson's Disease.
I have also worked with schools and after-school programs for individuals living with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
